Mikhail Mishev was born and lives in Sliven. He graduated from the Dobri Chintulov High School in 2020.
Staring in 2017, Mikhail served as a volunteer for 9 months in a segregated Roma school (St. St. Cyril and Methodius, Sliven). There he had the opportunity to understand the problems faced by Roma children. In 2020, he was appointed as supervisor of a group of foreigners fighting aggression in the classroom.
Mikhail has represented his school at national competitions including the IT Olympiad and the Civic Education Olympiad. He has completed two personal projects related to the mental health of school-age children. He is now working on a social experiment that will help establish the prejudices of both the Roma community towards Bulgarians and the Bulgarian community towards the Roma, aiming to raise awareness and improve coexistence of the different ethnic groups in his city.
Mikhail is a semi-professional gamer, and his greatest passions are psychology, cycling and reading scientific literature.
